Our M9540 with cab has the PTO indicator light on the dash on when we turn the key and the PTO is not engaged and it will not start. When you turn the key something clicks, but nothing else.?
Thnx

Either a switch is bad or the opc is having a failure.

Sorry what is an OPC?

Tims

That means your butt on the seat!

operator presence control = opc,

only way to test it would be to bypass it and or test it once it is unconnected.

On most of these type of tractors you got to do something with the seat, like flip it forward or something (or be in it ) for the PTO to work.

Look under the cover for the PTO handle, is there a switch there? If there is then a simple disconnect and jump the 2 wires will tell you if that is the problem.

tried the micro switch on the PTO handle, and it was OK. I knew about the "Butt" switch, but didn't think that would cause the PTO light to come on by that situation. I will try that. In the mean time our local Kubota dealer is going to come out and pick it up.

Thnx so much
