PTO Engage Lever Stuck - Now Tractor Won't Start

Attached my mower deck the other day and when I backed the tractor out of my garage and went to throw the PTO engage lever, I found it incredibly stiff and hard to push down and lock in place. I tried operating it with brute force and ignorance but it wouldn't work. Now it is back to the original position but the tractor won't start which leads me to believe that the tractor still thinks it is in PTO mode. I suspect that my mid and rear PTO shafts are frozen and need to be broken loose but I am spit balling on that assumption. Any ideas? Mowing my acre and a half with a push mower is kicking my tail.

For what it's worth I have a similar problem with my B2630. In my case the PTO is actually stuck in the ON position and tractor will only start by by passing ignition switch. On my tractor there is a safety switch on the PTO housing and if it's in the open position the tractor won't start. Until I figure out why exactly the PTO is stuck ON I'm simply going to not use the PTO and bypass the switch for now. Not ideal by any stretch but I have plowing and FEL work to do and likely don't need PTO until next mowing season.

Likely the rod or lever going to pto bent into the right position, however where it attaches to to actually operate the pto didn't move. Find where it attaches and where the safety switch is and start there
