If your B2630 is like my B2620, I used to hold the seat safety switch down with part of the wire loom. Worked just fine, of course it is a safety switch!

I disabled the Range-Lever safety switch on my Kubota…because it was ”sensitive’…requiring me to “wiggle” the range lever to get it to start…. So I mfr’d a jumper across the switch, which fixed that.

For me.

Then I realized my Son, SIL, and Grandson…and perhaps others…might use this tractor from time to time…and how I’d feel if they got hurt… OR started the tractor while standing beside the tractor while it’s still parked in the hangar/garage…. And drove it into other equipment/airplanes/etc.

…but Mostly…. I don’t want anyone Hurt.

So I cleaned/adjusted that switch and Re-Activated it.

No more problems with it…. And I’ll be less likely to hurt myself as I grow older/more-forgetful. 🤪
