Hello, while restoring my Kubota B6000, I just realized, among other things, that the light switch is broken into three pieces, which is why it's not working properly. I wanted to know if there's a way to replace it with a universal one, or if it has to be an original type.
Thanks

You can always use something universal for something as simple as a light switch. It's a matter of appearance, fit, and cost. But at 12V, a switch is pretty much a switch.

All you have to do is to mimic the function. There are tons of sources online for good quality switches.

Do you know the schematic of the switch?

Hello again, I don't have the switch diagram.

The B6000 light switch is more complicated than jut an on/off switch.
Here is a copy of the wiring diagram.

The previous owner of mine replaced the switch some that are more readily available.

It would probably be easier to try and source an OEM one.

Hmmm. A 6 pole switch, so not unusual, but the big unanswered question is, what does each position actually do? If you have a working switch, it's not difficult to meter out the functions, but if your switch just isn't working, that's not going to work.

Yes, for someone who does not know his way around electricity, that's the simplest route.
