I am in Jacmel Haiti building an orphanage. The ministry has a M8200 that I am using for light excavation and moving materials and equipment. The tractor had not run for some months when I arrived so I replaced the lubricants and filters. I am having a problem with the front end loader bleeding off to the point that I cannot lift more than a couple hundred pounds

I need some pointers on what to do .. thanks

I can't help you with the tractor- sorry. The work that you are doing in Haiti is fantastic, though! I spend a good bit of time in Haiti, and my wife and I want to settle there sometime in the future, once our kids are through college (Lord willing). There is a ton of work to do there, and the kids are of high priority.

Was the machine ok before you pulled the maintenance which would indicate if you caused the problem?

Looking at Messick's parts diagram and the information on tractordata, it seems that the M8200 only has a single hydraulic pump. Does the rear lift function normally? If so, that means the fluid, filter, pump, and the rest are in working order. If not, that's helping to isolate the problem.

Since you replaced the filters and lubricants (Including the hydraulic fluid?), did the problem start after the change, or was it pre-existing?

I would suggest figuring out if the rear lift works normally. If it does, it's in the loader circuit somehow. If not, then there is something amiss in the hydraulic circuit itself.

Maybe the filter and/or filter screen is occluded, or the fluid level is too low, making it suck air.

Did you replace the fluid with the proper type? Is it making any type of different noise or acting strange in any other way?
