Post search help

Hey folks, I'm looking for a post i seen a while back where someone made up a reciever that mounted on the back of the BX23S tractor underneath the backhoe and extended back past the bucket. Does anyone know where that is?

just above the gray, look for 'Search', click on that
in the 'keywords' window insert 'bx23s receiver hitch'

you'll get 2-3 dozen 'hits'

click on the 1st one, read, no ? try the next one , repeat as needed.......

hopefully you'll find it. I can't recall reading about it,having a looong receiver could be a 'mechanical problem' ??

Thanks, I did this prior to making my post of course. And recieved a plethora of results. None of which were the specific one I'm looking for. I feel like the post was a sub post on another topic which may be why I can't find it. I do understand the mechanical disadvantage of leverage but this isn't relevant right now.

hmm, any chance you remember another 'keyword' , maybe 'drawbar' was mentioned ?. The quantity and order of the keywords will determine the 'hits' you get.
happy you KNOW about the 'long lever' problem !

Trailer hitch on backhoe (revisited)

This has been discussed before, and someone posted this pic, a pretty slick solution:

BX backhoe trailer hitch & dump trailer

Two plates are bolted to the space above the bucket and a receiver welded to the outside plate for the hitch tube and ball. Then the trailer can be positioned where needed and tongue LIFTED to dump the flat deck or utility box out. Note use a smaller ball then the hitch on the trailer to allow...

I was thinking a 'drawbar' receiver, something bolted to the frame or rockshaft not a 'bucket extention'.

I have found that a Google search works well with a keyword and the phrase OrangeTractorTalks added at the end. Sometimes I will repalce OrangeTractorTalks with Kubota and that will search more Kubota tractor forums.
