Hi everybody! I'm considering purchasing a new tractor, either a BX23S TLB with 60" mmm or a B2601 loader and tractor with a 60" mmm. My local dealer got offended when i asked what the best deal they could give me was, the owner said they were straight MSRP. I also got a quote from one shop that was A bit lower than MSRP, $22,325 the BX23S and $21,595 for the B2601 as described above. I have searched on here a lot and have seen that one should be able to.get anywhere from 15-25% off MSRP? What the heck?

I also contacted Barlows and they said they wouldn't deliver to me and furthermore wouldn't even give me a quote! Weird. Are there any online dealerships that deliver to Washington state? Any place in WA that is giving good deals?

My uncle also runs a large general store in SW WA and he can apparently buy Kubota at wholesale but wasnt sure if he could do Kubota financing through his business. Anyone have experience with a similar situation?

Looking for some advice I really want a tractor! It would be used for mowing, gravel drive maintenance and some light work on my 2.5ac organic christmas tree farm. Ideally I would get the backhoe to rip out Xmas tree stumps and some drainage work. Also would be nice for planting larger trees and other work.

Any and all advice appreciated!

Back when I bought my B2601 (2015) Barlows said they would deliver to me but that I would be better off buying local pricewise.
Have you talked to Jennings equipment in Puyallup?, as I remember the price they quoted me was 10% below MSRP plus everything was set up right the first time.

I picked up a B2601 with loaded tires for as follows:

B2601 tractor $13,200
FEL QA $3,400
60"MMM $1900
Total $18,500 Delivered with 0% for 60 months.
The best price I got was $18,200 but that dealer was about an hour from the house. So I just stayed local.

Remember the BX23s doesn't come with 3 point hitch, if you were planning to add implements. Looks like it's only $200 though.

Give Dan's Tractor in Battle Ground a call. 360 687 3000 They will give you a quote.

I purchased a BX2660 and recently an MX4800 from them. Good price and good service. I could not ask for better.

I have had great luck working with both Andy @ Jennings, and also got a great quote from issaquah. They will be both be very close to any o line price you find.

Another vote for Dan's in Battleground. I live in the 'Couve and first contacted an Oregon dealer to save the sales tax. After an msrp quote and 'no way jose' on delivery across the river I got a very good deal on my new BX23S from Dan's. Delivery, 3 point hitch and free pick up on warranty work in Clark county included.

And a free hat. Either that or I bought a very expensive hat and got a free tractor!

Dan's has a can do attitude and a sharp pencil. Worth the drive.

They can't deliver across the river for the tax reason. You could have brought it over yourself but WA would have wanted their tax. I don't know about WA ut some states you get a pass if you purchase then wait 90 days before bringing into state.

Yes Nickleplated5s, that was exactly what the OR dealer said about delivery into WA. I understood that. I also calculated the lower WA quote plus my ability to deduct WA sales tax off my federal tax form was the better deal. I also have the goodwill of buying local if & when I ever need parts and service.

WA has no tags or title on tractors so unless you get pulled over for speeding on the bridge with a shiny orange tractor on your trailer and the sales receipt in your hand, well I'll leave that up to others. I did the right thing by the governor and saved money, so win win.

Thats odd Brady told you that... Before my BX23S was delivered 5/19, Marvin ( the driver ) was in Washington, then Louisiana and hit me on his way to NH and CT.

I wont buy from a Dealer who just quotes MSRP. If they get pissy, than they are in financial trouble and are trying to squeeze every last dollar out of every sale. I just got some qoutes for the front mounted snowblower. 3 components... Closest dealer gave MSRP, I said thats what Kubota site says, he says oh well. I laugh and show my other two quotes that are both 12-15% under MSRP and say this is your competition. I see why Mike quit that shop...

My BX23S was 19,800 with 60" mmm, 3pt kit. 2100 cheaper than local dealers and I didn't pay 8% tax to boot....

I bought my BX at Pacific Tractor in OR. They gave me the best price on the Tractor, and I saved a ton by just buying it there. I will say that apparently WA dealers get a better deal and have a different pricing structure than the Oregon ones. When I went to buy my Hoe, Pacific could not match the price, but would have been cheaper without the tax. I ended up going pre-owned.
