Well after a much research ( With no help from Kubota) I've determined that the reported improvement of the notably weak Bevel gear housing pivot seal appears to be in a redesign of the of the rubber sealing surface profile. Gone is the less than robust slanted sealing surface in photo 1, the new profile is squared off and looks as though it should have more rubber contact to housing surface.. To all the Kubota purists I've chosen an aftermarket seal for $20.00 over the Branded seal at $100.00 assuming that both are produced in the same rat infested Chi Com sweat shop by forced slave labor.... "Just a better seal" may justify an $80.00 difference in cost but only time well tell.
