Hi,

My Kubota L275 had a steering failure today. The Pitman Arm broke about 2" from where it is attached to the steering assembly. Found the replacement arm part at Messicks but I'm not sure about the removal process for the remaining broken piece. Looks like a nut is holding on the broken piece but do I need like a specialized tool to remove the broken piece of the arm from the geared bolt? Looks like I might need a pulley puller or something. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks,
Joe

You need a Pitman arm puller, you can probably rent one at a auto parts store.
