Hello,

I am looking for the pinout of those pressure sensors used in Hyundai excavators like the R140 or R210 and others.

Well, If I would own one of those excavators it would not be a problem. But I want to buy one of those sensors and use it in my Kubota. It may be protected electronically but I would like to avoid frying the sensor. Hence my question.

And I do not have a wiring diagram. I could not find any freely available service manual on the internet.

OK, just HOW are you going to use the sensor ? How was it calibrated? does it output a voltage or current when pressure is applied. Is it linear, semilog or log calibrated ? Hmm, is it peizoresistive ???
Without seeing the actual datasheet for that sensor, it may not be 'compatible' with your Kubota.
From the picture it's '50 Bar' so about 725 PSI, so not a primary hydraulic sensor....
The actual easy part is buying the mating connector !

You'd need to find the excavator model that those were used on, then find the wiring diagrams for the excavator, then find the sensor on the diagram.

Never mind, I went and did the work for you.

CD-42/43/44 is a Deutsch DT06-3S-EP06 connector.

Hello Dustball,

that is great, that's what I was looking for, thank you very much !

Where did you find that or which keywords did you use? I did not find anything, only websites asking for a lot of money.

@GreensvilleJay: yes, it is compatible with my Kubota. I built the electronics for the sensor myself and I will calibrate it in software too. I also believe the pressure range is suitable.

Kind regards,
Hugo

nice when a plan comes together !
never thought about the 24 volt battery....
the 1 volt for 0 bar makes sense, as does 5v for 50 bar (full scale)

if you use Olympic averaging of the raw signal, you'll get nice steady numbers.
