It's been awhile coming and all the signs were there for it, but, budget and time didn't allow for me to do it ahead of time:
Loud boom and all the juice came right out.
So I went and tried to find the part number to replace this, plus get new shoes on it. It has "12.4-24 on 11" rim" stamped on the tire itself. I might as well replace both rims (and obviously both tires now), as the other side isn't in a whole lot better shape.
Looking on this site:
it looks like the p/n I want is 70000-00053? Is that correct? It's hard to tell but I think the centers are in good shape overall.
But when I look at some online shops to buy it, like this one:
www.tractorpartsasap.com
They say it's a 10" rim.
If that part is the right one and that seller has two in stock, I'd like to get them ordered sooner than later. But, also not really sure how much of a DIY job this will be. I have the gear to jack the tractor rear up easily and pull both off. But getting a new tire on the rim, getting beet juice in there etc., feels like stuff I need to hire out for.
