Have a BX 25 and due to limited garage space I must park it with the bucket in the air resting on something..My question is will this hurt my machine being parked like this???

Other than the risk of it coming down and squishing something/someone, the hydraulic cylinder rods are exposed therefore subject to possible damage - dings, dirt, getting bent or rusting. (rust is unlikely unless they have inferior chrome plating)

If it's going to be garage kept, the short answer is no. Just make sure whatever you use will support it.

I agree with the earlier posts. The main thing is to find some way that the bucket (and 3-point implements) are supported, because the hydraulic pressure will bleed off eventually, and the bucket will come to rest on something.
Hollow steel tubing welded to an old tire rim makes an convenient support - stable when in place, easy to move around and very strong when in compression.
