Hi guys:
Before I bought my BX 1860 I read in other forums about guys complaining abut over heating in summer. As soon as mine was delivered I opened the hood and installed a double thickness aluminum foil sheet between the muffler and the engine, at the engine heat sensor area.
I've had some 40 hours on this including hot weather and the temp gage has never gone above half way, even under heavy loads.
