My front mount snow blower "runs" at 2500 rpm mid-pto so that's where I set it, with blower engaged at idle and not loaded, up throttle to 2400-2500 rpm then have at it.
Once the blower is biting into deep snow I'll push my speed until rpms drop about 100 rpm from loading and hold rpm there with hst speed adjustment.
I treat the rear pto implements the same, full operating rpms. 540 rpm for the chipper and rotary mower. That's 2300 rpm (plus something) on the engine, whatever, but I run the pto at 540, UNLOADED. Once under load the rear doesn't go below 500, unless overloaded.
When the backhoe is running I set engine at 2500 rpm, my B2650's "operating rpm" according to manual. Occasionally I'll throttle down some if there's exceedingly delicate or slow work needing doing with the BH77.
All other activities with the tractor are usually somewhere between 1600-2200 rpm, like while using loader or pallet forks, maneuvering a trailer, running the box scraper, getting around the yards.
On the gravel road without a load usually 2500 rpm in H gear, lets get there eh?
The only implement operated in low rpm is the 3-point post hole digger, barely above idle around 1350 engine rpm.
