I can't open the hood on my L3400. The latch shows an arrow, suggesting I turn it clockwise. But I can't turn it. I am a woman with an temporarily injured hand. Does it require a lot of strength to do this? Thanks!

You need to press the hood down with a good oomph while you give the latch a quick turn. They indeed can be a bit tight.
