Hello all,
Recently asked my father to re-fill my BX and while pouring the diesel into the tank the small plastic filler tube came of the 5 gallon jug and you guessed it----it fell into the fuel tank of the BX. Ive tried to get it out unsucessfully and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts??? Not sure what you call it but I've used a long flexible grabber tool that opens up on one end when you push the other end in. This didnt help its not floating on top of the fuel and I think its stuck on the bottom. HELP!!!!!

Leavie it in there until the tank is empty or if you can't wait, syphon the fuel out again.

Chances are it is inert so I'd just leave it.

If I had something like that in my tank and I was really worried about it, and nothing else worked I'd rent one of those video camera gizmos with the fiber whip. They cost about $150 new, so they can be that expensive. It would probably only take a couple minutes to home in on the thing with one of those.

Leave it ,my Bota has about 15 bolts holding in the tank. I abandoned the idea and just rinced the tank in place. I had removed 10 of them...So. JY.

I put a hose clamp on all of my filler tubes on those little fuel cans. The worst thing I almost did was drop the cap that goes on the gas can into the fuel tank. But I'm quite careful now.
