Luckily I pulled the tractor into the carport due to the rain, better than tying tarps. I have a leak from the top of the oil tank, I probably wouldn't have noticed it in the dirt. From reading the threads, it looks to be a problem with the bracket weld, or the o-rings. I got it drained, and am about to take it off. Oddly, the bolts look like someone used non-metric wrenches to remove it before. It also has what looks like white epoxy on the front lower corners. It had 14 hours when I bought it and looked brand new. I didn't notice one of the grill bars was bent, he must have hit something pretty hard. I don't have a service manual, I plan on selling it in about a year when its work is finished on the property, and didn't think I'd be working on it. I'm curious if I have to remove the top plate to disconnect the tank. I hope not, the four bolts are way in there.

I purchased a service manual for $10 from Epsy. It doesn't mention the plate bolts during tank removal.

Are you talking about the 4 bolts (070)?
If you are no you don't need to get to those, that part just presses into the tank.
