I have a 1986 B8200HST 4WD that is leaking oil out of the left brake shaft where it goes into the main transmission housing. Has anyone repaired? What I assume I need to do.
Drain Hydralic oil. Remove small housing that holds the brake shaft and lever.
I would assume that the brake shaft slides into a spline inside the transmission and would slide out when I loosen the housing holding the shaft and lever. The seal that is leaking is pressed into the small housing and held on with a c-ring. Repalace the seal and reassemble.
Sound correct?
