Most of the time the particular brand filter you are looking at will have a cross ref. guide on their web site.

I still have filters on my M 9000 that I can't find a aftermarket brand. And believe me, the dealer is very proud of those when I go to get one.

I am in a brain fade mode..........ya, I know, its not that unusual for me..lol

I am looking for the oil filter for my M5040 2008 and it seems that there are not many cross refs and my 40 miles away tractor supply shops that carry it.

Seems simple enough but.
Do you folks sell my filter ? and/or, does anyone know the ref numbers for it?
I don't mind paying for Kubota oem. As I rather change the filter more than I need to.
When I lost my local Kubota dealer up here, I lost a great contact. I guess I didn't appreciate them as much when they were here as I should have.

The bigger guys that swallowed them up close before I get out of work so its a bitch to get there in time.

I guess I need a good on line connections for all my stuff. whats new, living up here in northern NH. Should be used to it by now.

Wix number is 57430. All of Carquest/Napa premium filters are made by Affinia/Wix. Their part numbers are even the same with the addtion of one number. I have noy found but one filter on my Kubotas that Wix cannot supply. It's the fuel filter for my B2710.

 http://www.mowergraveyard.com/ This is where I ended up buying my filters. BUT
I just received my order from these folks and even though the filters fit and I am sure they will be fine...they are NOT mfg'd by Kubota as stated on their website.

Just an fyi ...............my wife contacted them and questioned why they say these are mfg'd by Kubota but are not really. They said we can return them if
we do not want them. They also said they are just "referencing" to oem products.
I ordered a couple of the WIX 57430 from my AutoParts guys, they did have to back order but.... WIX is a little more of a noteworthy mfg to me.

Thanks again all.

Be careful this weekend anyone around or in the way of Irene!!!! My Kubota is under cover in her shed.
