Downsized to the BX. Thinking about eventually purchasing a smaller "wood hauling" trailer. Max capacity of 1/2 ton. Keep me from doing something stupid vs. using the existing trailer.

Any experience and recommendations with a model that has a dump feature? Locally (within an hours drive) we have a Tractor Supply and a L&M Fleet for stores. Plus my Kubota/New Holland dealer. Those would be my first choices of retailers.

There are a few trailers on Amazon with single and double axles and atv tires.

I have two manual dump trailers that I have had for years and been very happy with:

One is from Tractor Supply the Ohio Steel Tow-Behind 15 cu. ft. Hybrid ATV and Lawn/Garden Poly Swivel Dump Cart, 1,250 lb. Capacity.

The other is heavier duty, about twice the cost, and has a bit larger 1600lb capacity from countryatv.com. It's their single axle 5450ATV dump trailer.

Both are very rugged and handle rough terrain well. I have used them behind my ATV and tractor for hauling firewood, gravel, and stone.

I was going to buy one of these for my B2620. Weber Lane hydraulic dump trailers. They come in 1 to 4 ton capacity. Come standard with a hand pump hydraulic cylinder, but I was going to use my rear remote to dump it.
But then I ended up buying my RTV-X1100C to use as a dump truck instead.

Off road? Hard pack, mud, sand, thorns?
I would love to have a 3 cubic yard mini dump trailer but, physical dimensions size can't be wider than the BX (48"). So I use a 1/2 C.Y. crappy thing but, I got rid of the narrow, wheel barrow tires and put on 6' wide (like of the front of a garden tractor) to help prevent sinking in the soft stuff. I've way over loaded it several times (amazed the axle did not bend). Very similar to the green one Lil' Foot refereed to.
What trailer depends on what your expectations are.

whatever you buy be real careful hauling it loaded ! BX isn't noted for great braking and 1000# behind going down a slight grade, will be 'interesting'
ideally the trailer should have brakes and a 'power' lift of the box. If it has a hand crank, add a 12v winch to it.
