OK the "B" which I am beginning to believe stands for bitch, blew another O ring on the grapple supply at the quick connects. And I do not have any that fit. It is a 1/4 inch supply line and every thing I have is too big or too small, does any one know for sure what size it is ,SAE or Metric?

This came up in another thread a while back and someone provided a part number. I ordered a set off Amazon and they never came. The OP in the thread had measured and found something that worked for them.

The quick couplers on my loader connections were leaking and I couldn't find a match out of 6 different assortments I have. I ended up putting the old o-ring back in and spraying all the couplers out with WD40 and they didn't leak when I put them back together. Might try just cleaning them out if the o-rings are intact.

I have both of the Harbor Freight assortments, a ORFS assortment, An ORB assortment, and two different AC assortments along with some other miscellaneous o-rings. None had a match for the 0-ring that my Kubota loader couplers have in them.

When searching for an 0-ring or kit to match I came across one listing to change out the "leaking Kubota quick couplers"

I came across another thread saying this aerospace o-ring would fit.

In other words, Kubota used couplers with non common o-rings as far as I can tell and they don't list kits or replacement o-rings for their couplers.

For Pioneer style, as best I’ve been able to tell and in my experience:

1/2” coupler: number 117 buna-n 70a (medium) hardness

3/8” coupler: number 115 buna-n 70a

1/4” coupler: number 113 buna-n 70a

No clue about flat face. I haven’t seen those sizes in the assortment box type kits at HF, Grainger, etc. but I suppose it’s possible there’s an assortment somewhere that includes them.

It could be anything.

There is no general rule. The choice of orings (or sonething else) is up to the manufacturer.

Will defer to your expertise on the subject as you know much more about the subject than I. Worked for me thus far but quite possible more luck than skill. And to be clear since intonation is not possible in writing, that is said in all sincerity.

All good :p

I am sure you would be surprised by how much leeway the OEMs have when it comes to coupler construction. The ISO standards dont even address the female half - see attachments
