O ring in hydraulic fitting replacement

I don't think they are designed to come apart. I would just replace it with a new one.

You figure that coupler has 2200 psi (or something in that range) right in your face, not anything to play with. Could be your eye, could be your life. Might be your child or your wife standing beside it when/if it desides to blow apart. Not worth the risk in my book.

Use a dental pick to get the old one out.

TSC sells replacement packs........cheap.

Make sure the Oring is wet with hydraulic oil before you reconnect the line.

Just use a small flat screwdriver to poke it down in where it belongs.

I have replaced them before on hydraulic lines.....also......common occurrence to replace pressure cleaner Orings ........4000psi held in your hand.


Just don't stand there with your eye ball an inch away from it the first time you apply pressure........lol.......
