That is called a chain tong. Used frequently in the oilfield industry. I'm ignoring you because you hurt my feelings 😵💫

I have one like that which is about 4' long but haven't had any use for it since I retired from the heavy truck body-building industry. We used to use that when building tank trucks. I also have a small one that is similar to that which was made by Snap-On.

I got two of those at the shop for installing and removing large fittings on my water pumps.

The new one had a 6ft solid steel handle and took two people to use it. One person to muscle it in place, another to manipulate the chain.

After fighting with it the first time, I got mad and ran it through the chop saw with cut off wheel at the shop 😬😬😬😬

Handle is 16" long now and weighs considerably less 😁😁😁 One person can now use it fairly comfortably. 😎😎😎😎😎

My feelings aren’t hurt, but I showed that to my three pipe wrenches and they are all suffering from feelings of inadequacy.

I've got 2 of them that are 4 and 6 foot long, dang heavy buggers!
I also have 2 bench mounted versions that are really good at holding oddly shaped pieces.
I also have one that has cutters in the chain.
