I have searched so many different sites I’m blue in the face. I have a 2012 Kubota M7040 4wd cab tractor. One day I went to start it and it wouldn’t start. It wasn’t getting fuel. I’m not 100% sure but almost sure I could hear the fuel solenoid clicking when I turned the key. I was told I could have blockage in the first 90 degree elbow leading from fuel tank to water separator. I took it off and found what looked like a bug and other trash in the elbow coming from fuel tank, into the water separator, cleaned it out and seems like now fuel is at least coming up from the tank when I pump the primer on top of the fuel filter. Now the solenoid is not clicking. I took the wiring plug off the solenoid and used a test light and not getting power to the solenoid when key is on. I have checked fuses and relays, but still haven’t figured it out. I used a jumper wire and ran hot to the one side of the solenoid it started chattering. I reached up and hit the key and it started up. I have also noticed that the outside cab/work lights are not working. Any ideas what I should be looking for or exactly which relay or fuse should check. I’m by no means a mechanic, but I’m trying not to send it to the Kubota dealership if it could be something I could fix. Thanks in advance for any information.
