Hi,

I'm a quite happy owner of a Kubota B1200 since last week. It's in a quite good shape I would say and here in Germany it seems to be quite normal to buy them refurbished directly imported from Asia. Nevertheless, getting to know my new toy I found some drops of oil on the connection to the hydraulic pump. That triggered my interest in where the hydraulic oil is stored, to be refilled and where to find the strainer?
Researching on this I found this great forum and directly signed up. Hopefully one of you can point me into the right direction!

Many thanks in advance
Jan

Welcome. You have a very handsome tractor.

It might be worthwhile for you to go through the section of this forum dealing with what in North America are called "Grey Market," tractors.

Sometimes the Asian specific models have quirks such as a rear pto which rotates in the opposite direction to those tractor designed for the North American market and thus North American attachments don't work.

There are solutions such as a reverser gear box as you will learn in the Grey section.

I am not trying to alarm you that you might not have the true Kubota quality but rather a few things might not be as expected without checking.

A North American designed tractor has a pto shaft which rotates clockwise when standing behind the tractor and looking at the pto .
