This is my first diesel tractor and my first Kubota - It had a pretty major hydraulic leak on one of the hoses when I got it. Had a new one made for it, but not totally sure where the fill is for the hydraulic fluid. Is it the orange cap behind the shifter and between my legs with the vent line on it. It is labeled "oil". I would have thought it would have said hydraulic fluid or hydro or something along those lines. I don't want to take a chance of putting it in the wrong place. Thanks for any help with this.

There are 2 hydraulic fill caps on the L2350/2500/2600/3000. One is behind the seat, orange cap that says "OIL" (or 710 if it's upside down...). If the tractor has a loader, that cap behind the seat is usually taken up with a hose and fitting. The other one is behind the shifter and has a vent on it. It's labeled again "oil" or 710". They both fill the same thing-the transmission, which is also the sump for the hydraulic system and power steering system.

Then the front axle on the DT models (4x4) has it's own fill/check cap. And of course the engine is separate from the front axle and hydraulic system.
