So I purchased a Kubota from an online sale site unseen. Kubota 2410D with 500 hours. No idea if it runs as battery was not charged enough to do anything but look at hours. It comes with this attachment-Please let me know what it is and what it does and what you think of tractor based on pics.

From looking at the company that manufactured that implement I am guessing that it had to do with surfacing sports courts or playgrounds with rubber surfaces, like rubberized track fields and Sports Courts surfaces.

The thing on front seems to be a huge hydraulic tank and pump system, probably connected to the mid PTO or front shaft of the engine (if that tractor ever had that).

Since it has something that looks like a combine output tube, it may have been used to resurface existing systems (grind off a bit and replace it with a new surface??). It could be just a sweeper though. The thing by the seat appears to be a hopper and blower system to blow new material (top color?) onto the surface OR a dust collection system (more likely).

These are all just huge guesses since the company seemed to have been involved with tire recycling and sports surfaces but not in tractor implements so take this all as speculation!

And is the rear axle on that tractor moved towards the rear somehow, or is something else changed? Look at the spacing of the seat to the center of the rear wheels…

Interesting - I've never seen that before and wouldn't call even it an implement or attachment due to the heavy amount of modifications involved, including relocating the rear. I would consider it a permanent install, making the tractor a 1 trick pony.

Hope you got it very cheap, especially if you don't know what it does or have that need.
Pardon the curiosity, but what do you plan on doing with it?

edit - tractor looks decent & you said low hours so may be worth rebuilding back to OE OR finding someone who needs "that"?

Maybe adapt it to combine seeds off of various crops. Probably more practical to remove all the hardware and put back to just a tractor, but you won't have any 3 pt hardware.

That is the first time I've seen a tractor with the rear wheels moved like that.

I think that might be what it is. A grain vacuum to collect seeds for planting or something like that. One heck of a monstrosity though and it would be interesting to know more about it.

Take this with a grain of AI salt!

I apologize for the confusion. While Charles Lawrence International primarily focuses on synthetic surfacing solutions, they did produce the BEAVER seed harvesting model. This model is somewhat of an exception to their typical product line, aimed at agricultural applications.
Clarification
  • BEAVER Model: Specifically designed for seed harvesting, it represents the company's foray into agricultural implements, albeit not a significant focus for their business overall.
Thank you for your patience, and if you have any further questions or need more information on the BEAVER model or others, feel free to ask!

Note; I have not been successful in finding anything online, pictures or text that collaborates AI's claim.

I just want to know what type of plant you would use something like that on to gather seeds.
