I picked up my new ROPS today. Got it from the dealer for $100.07 total. Started the install tonight, pretty simple. I also had to make a new shaft for the lift arms to mount on. I will post a pic when I finish it tomorrow.
I agree! That's a killer deal!I need to find a dealer like yours. 100 bucks... all I can say is Wow...!!!
Mine WAS purchased under the ROPS program for older tractors."Kubota Tractor Corporation offers a ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) program to equip older model Kubota tractors with a ROPS and seat belt."
You can get reduced prices for ROPS for older tractors from KUBOTA. See the following link. I could get one for mine for $148 but I already have one.

Kinda pisses me off…. your dealer charges you a lot less, and lets you install it yourself…. my stealer charges a lot more, refuses to let me install it because I'm "not qualified", then Fs up the installation, which I have to correct. From what I could find on the web the cost was going to be $148. I talked to the dealer about it, he ordered it up and my cost was $100.07 total, including shipping and handling. Also came with a seat belt assembly. Seamed to cheap to me. Picked it up yesterday and finished installing it this afternoon.

Wow, I had to pay the shipping charges, but they never said anything about installation. I'm on my own there.Kinda pisses me off…. your dealer charges you a lot less, and lets you install it yourself…. my stealer charges a lot more, refuses to let me install it because I'm "not qualified", then Fs up the installation, which I have to correct.
I need to move to another state with a better dealer.
