New to the forum and new to owning a kubota.
I recently purchased a used bx1800D which does not have a mower deck. I'd like to get one and have looked a couple locally. I have accumulated several question in regard to compatibility with my tractor. I was hoping I might get some clarity here.
I looked a brand new take-off 48" deck (RCK48-18BX) but it seems that the mounting points on my 1800 are narrower than the newer deck. Does kubota make any conversion bracket to mount newer deck to older tractors? If not, has anyone fabricated any for this purpose?
I was told by the local dealer that they still make new decks for the older tractors and that I needed to look for a RCK54-22BX and that they don't make a 48" version anymore. Is this right, based on your experience?
Any other ideas or alternatives would be greatly appreciated.
