howdy all and happy friday!

good ol reliable ai led me here for some community chat about the svl75-3 we had delivered this week but I'm not finding any sub forums on anything but wheeled tractors.

we have an old b8200, couple of big commercial diesel zero turns, and now a 75hp ctl so I thought an 'everything kubota' forum would be handy to join up with.

am in the wrong place for those machines other than the old b series?

I was hoping to find thread topics listed under specific machine categories simply because I don't know what I don't know.

and I'm not a thread starter by nature, I usually see something related to my situation where I can join the conversation.

but I'm willing to give it a whirl and see who's in the same boat with me. I'll put some thoughts together and post a thread starter later.

Welcome aboard Killer!!!

Although most posts are tractor related the folks here run all kinds of equipment including track loaders and have a deep knowledge base to tap into. Generally non-judgmental and tolerant so don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how basic, or complicated, they may seem.

If you don't already have one you can find a PDF of the operators manual for your CTL here second from the bottom of the list.

So what oil, grease and hydraulic fluid are you using?

not sure where this is going but sounds like something highly debated around here maybe?

outside of my military career as a construction mechanic in the Seabees, I just retired march 1st as a fleet service manager of a 9600 piece fleet in the largest municipal utility company in the US. prior to that, my civilian experience started as a hydraulic tech for Zemarc in LA and shop foreman for Sunsouce in Anaheim (now closed). I was even a k2a at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for a year.

on our family farm besides a couple of kubotas, we have IH, JD, Ford, and an Allis Gleaner.

so sure, I'd be happy to discuss hydraulic fluid.
