I can get a new L4600 with loader for $2300 less than a well equipped use MX5100. 5100 has double rear hydraulics, canopy, heavy duty bucket with cutting blade.
Problem is I know that the 5100 was run pretty hard during its short life, 140 hrs. He ran a 4 bottom 16" plow, handled round bales, buried it in the mud several times, ocasionally ran Kerosene through it and at least once crossed a deep crek that put the exhaust underwater.
Should I be afraid of the used machine because I know it was run hard?
What implements require the rear hydraulics?
The loader on 4600 is lighter duty, my primary uses will be small cattle operation, clearing some land, landscaping, general farm chores.
I have a JCB backhoe for heavy duty requirements
