I was super stoked to take delivery of my new tractor. And then, it rained. There is water on the floorboard. This looks like more than yesterday’s rain sat here. The car/tractor dealership used it on lot for snow removal. I didn’t expect it to stop killer bees from getting in necessarily. But not leaking rain and getting moldy seemed within reason. Any guesses where it’s getting in from?

ac3510!??
One of the ways we tracked roof leaks was with a gentle spray from a hose. Start from the bottom and work your way up. Then tell the dealer what you found but not how.

Welcome to OTT dot_bob.

So it's not a brand new tractor. Can't tell from your profile how much snow your area might have received or how old the tractor is so the amount of use or abuse is a question.

Snow and mud tracked in was probably never cleaned until it came time to sell it causing the mold you speak of. They may have just taken a hose to the interior to flush the dirt out before selling it and let the water sit in puddles. Clean it up as best you can and make sure it's dry.

Check door seals for cracks or tears and proper fit when the doors are closed. Make sure the "new" guy told to go clear snow didn't damage them somehow.

Check roof for holes from lights or mirrors that might have been removed. Seal or reseal any holes.

Once all clean and dry try the hose as rudder35 suggested. Have someone spray while you're inside or visa versa.

Also...
Check to see if the dealership did any routine maintenance, depending on how many hours on the tractor. If it were mine I'd just go ahead and change all the fluids and filters and grease the daylights out of it for peace of mind. Check the wheel lug nut torques.

Aw man that's no bueno!

I'm with the other fellers.

Run you a hose over her and start looking at door seals and such. Or sit inside and have someone spray you down.

Not sure what these have for sealing in the roofs, never had to mess around with mine. Hopefully its a quick and easy fix for you.

On your new-to-you tractor...

I would guess that...

They hosed it out like @Bee-Positive said or left the door open in the rain. Maybe the glass of the door or the whole door was broken for a period of time and they replaced it to sell it. .. after rainy days or months.

In my experience, Kubota Cab leaks to that extent are not common.

Before you get out the hose and look for leaks, call and ask those who you bought it from. "Why is the floor wet and moldy"?

Or it could be one of those Kubota tractors that sat on the bottom of the Long Beach harbor a couple years ago.
