New Kubota G261

[Outnumbered]

New Kubota G261 available across the pond. I happened to stumble on this and wonder if it will ultimately be offered in the US. It has some interesting features and design it might be worth consideration at the right price point. I have toyed with purchasing a good diesel mower without going all the way too a BX and the current offering GR2120 seems a bit limited which is why I find this new offering interesting as they have 23 and 26hp versions.

I would be concerned with parts, service, etc.

Would have to be a really good price point to justify a very long boat ride and associated costs.

Might be a great option, but wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze in this instance. Only you can answer that question.

if 26hp, it will have to be derated to under 25hp to avoid "that" emissions threshold in the states. If left at 26hp, it will get a DPF which adds considerable cost. A lawn mower that costs $17,000 or whatever, wouldn't be out of the question. At that point a BX is a better, less expensive option.
