They moved the hydraulic connection higher. Like that. Have yet to remove my FEL for fear of leaking when putting it back on. Pedals wouldn't bother me from my 1880. Hate to see what they want for these. Probably twice as much. I'll stick with what I have for now.
Mine was fixed by the dealer under warranty once even though it should have been new enough to have the version that doesn't leak. I haven't removed it since, I just pull the bucket off to mow. Aligning mine so it'll drop in properly can also be tricky, even on level concrete, and it looks like they revised the cradle to prevent that issue.
It is nice that it can come with the larger R14T tires from the factory - I plan to buy them for mine at some point. Factory LED headlights is also a plus - I put LED bulbs in mine, though I also have the factory ROPS lights which were already LED.
I had an x series John Deere with the side-by-side pedals and now the Kubota with the front/back. I really don't think I have a preference and the Kubota pedal setup wasn't really a learning curve and didn't have me missing the Deere setup.
It's fairly unlikely that I'd swap for the 90 series in the future. Truthfully, I bought the BX to try to get down to one machine for everything and it succeeds, but I sometimes wish it wasn't as cumbersome to mow with. I didn't want an x700 at the time because it was similar money with no loader. I think the ideal would eventually be an AWD Diesel x700 series to mow and snowblow with, then keep the Kubota for loader work or to pull things with.
