Starting to think about snow removal, man it hurts to say that, with my L3800HST W/FEL. Looking for input on what rear blade to buy. I had a rear remote installed as I want a blade that I can change angle on via hydraulics. Is a 7 footer to big? Land Pride? Bison? What kind of deals are out there?

Any input would be appreciated.

Had a 7ft LandPride blade on the same tractor.
Worked well. 6ft would not be long enough if angled.
LandPride is good quality and service!
Skid shoes are a must if u have a gravel driveway!

Either one, they are both good units. Get a 7 footer and be ready to go to work. Definitely get the skid shoes, they make all the difference in the world

I've had a Servis/Rhino blade for 35+ years. A couple of years ago I put a tail wheel on it - an option on the Rhino, and many other brands. The tail wheel allows the blade to suspend between the 3ph arms and the tail wheel, and works really well on uneven or gravel driveways. Really great for spreading gravel and driveway maintenance too.
Go for heavy duty, and get swing, angle and tilt axis. It will last forever. The swing arm allows you to put the snow well off the side of the drive. The tilt axis lets you do ditching and banks. 7' is a good size.

Thanks for the input. Think I've settled on the LP RB3784 with hydro angle adjust. Going to dealer tomorrow to take first hand look and probably bring it home. I'll update my thoughts once I've had a chance to use it.

The rb3784 is a great choice. Thoroughly enjoy mine but no hydrolics for me yet. I think that it is well matched for the 3800. Much better to use than my prior 1684. Enjoy.

If you don't mind, what is this setup costing you, did you get the skid shoes?

The RB3784 with Hydraulic Angle was $1600. I did not get any other accessories. Haven't had a chance to use it but did get it attached to the tractor. Think it is going to be a winner.

Thanks for your response, that is a very fair price for a good implement.
