Its on an old L245DT
Is it better to get rebuild kits or try and find replacement cyls ?
Can anyone offer some "easy change" solutions? ie: swap whole cyl out for another?

Thanks all

I agree with Dave- look for a local shop that works on cylinders. There is one in my area, for instance, that can repair, or if needed, build, any cylinder that you'd want. And, his prices are much better than a dealership.

Another option is to buy the cylinder seal kits on your own. For the model 1200 loader, here's the seal kit info I have.
Part # 70050-00299. It runs about $35.
This is for the bucket control cylinder part# 4361 from the manual for the series 1200 loader.
This replaces the kit numbered 2-2857 in the same manual.
The cylinder itself is marked 2842 on one end.

No way would I buy new cylinders because it's simple enough to rebuild your own cylinders. I only take mine to the shop if I'm pressed for time.
