Just picked up a low hour L3750 to help clear and improve my 6 acres in northern Cal. near Grass Valley. Missed most of what I was after at a auction but did get the tractor with loader and a auger. I want to put a backhoe on it. Could use some suggestions on a good all purpose hoe and what I should be looking for price wise. I know there were some Kubota offered hoes that were not great. Also, any quirks about the L3750 I should know about or keep a eye on?

Woods and Bush Hog both make excellent after market brand of backhoes. Price can vary between the two manufactures by a few dollars and boom size makes a difference on price too.

We bought a very used, neglected, old L3750 13 years ago. Been a very good tractor! No help with the hoe.

Re: Naked L3750 Needs TLC

Thanks for the responses. Does anyone know of a good Kubota salvage yard. Looks like there are none in or near California. I need body parts for this neglected well used L3750. The dealer prices lead me to believe Kubotas are made out of some precious metal for the price they want for even little things like a fuse panel cover. All help appreciated.

if you find a kabota bone yard… please post it. as i'm sure others would like to save a few $$$$… you can include me in that list…
i have a l3200 and it came with a la524 backhoe..
if i ever need to replace the hydraulic cylinders. i will get larger diameter ones. as it could use a bit more lifting power..

West Kentucky Tractor is a bone yard for sever manufactures and have a majority of Kubotas. http://wkytpstore.com/

And if the cylinders go out upgrading to larger ones is a bad idea. Lots of potential to bend the loader arms in half.

Take the money you would spend on a backhoe and find a used mini trackhoe instead. You will get 3x the work done with a mini-x than you will ever think of with a backhoe. Instead of one machine doing everything you'll have 2 working together and support each other.
