Is there anyone who might know why and what I can do to make my rams move faster?
I have a 72" box scraper . I have a rame on both sides of the box plus the usual top cylinder and one more for my rippers, the top ram works normally as does the one for my rippers. however the rams on either side of the box move so slowly ,it really frustrates me. The dealer swears he hooked up the correct size hoses the correct way according to the shop manual and pretty much has told me to deal with it, theres nothing more he can do.
Can I adjust the pressure or pump output? or am I asking for trouble??
Is there someone who can draw me a schematic of how he/she thinks the hoses should be conected to the rams and control box??

It may be normal. My 88" Gearmore scraper w/ripper bar has a single hydraulic cylinder that moves much slower than the Gearmore Top & Tilt cylinders.

The single ram on the ripper bar is smaller and apparently less efficient so moves slower. It probably takes 15 seconds to cycle the bar from up to down and vice versa. If that what you mean by "slow".

There may be air in the lines so cycling the cylinder(s) several times might expel it.

BTW, Penn Valley sure is pretty.
