My BX1870-1 review i have 18 hrs on it,
grass cutting review (48"deck),on a average lawn i use (2)or (2 1/2) deck cutting hight and cuts real nice, the tractor speed is close to a zero turn on a flat open lot, on thick wet grass (12 in high) i use(2) grass too thick, i need to rise the deck to a (3),and then it was cutting fine then the next cut i would drop to(2) ,i have used 4x4 on a patch of lawn that was mud never got stuck, turning the tractor in tight spots excellent.
Review on loader, and i also used my weight box,I moved 3 tons of loom and 6 tons of 3/4 stone, my terrain is hilly and un even, grass and dirt ground and tight spots ,with the bucket full, never had a a issue of lack of power or unable to lift the weight,i also was cleaning out some over grown, i never had a issue, i did get stuck on a tree stem(mower deck on tractor i should of removed mower deck my fault) i got unstuck via lifting the tractor via the front bucket and backed out.

i put the tractor thought its pace this weekend even in the rain and never let me down,my RPMs were 2000-2800 rpms when using the tractor, i never thought i needed more HP,or wish i bought a 2370 ,i realized it is not a L or M series tractor, the tractor is worth every penny i paid and then some and a back saver, so my advice buy a 1870 tractor if it fits your needs i bought this tractor for what i though my needs are for a average home owner and it fits perfect also the price i paid i am happy and service from my dealer.

things i wish i had for my tractor but still does not effect my positive review
better seat, the orig seat hard to sit on .

things replace
both steering shaft boots
1 ROPS knob

i will review triple bagger and snow blade in the fall and winter

things i am glad i bought
front grill guard( already hit a rock)
ROP lights
rear light
turf tires
loader

Nice review, good to see how well it is working for you. Feel the same about the BX25 I have, use the BH all the time & only 1 time did I wish for a little more digging power but that was a big oak stump.

I have the slightly older 1860 and after 4 years can tell you that you'll never feel like engine power is an issue. Weight, size and hydro pump capacity are the BX's only restrictions and those are about the same on every engine choice in this platform.

Congrats on your purchase and the $$$ saved in "only" buying the 18hp version:p
