I’m stuck between getting the mx6000 with cab or m6060 with no cab. I’m leaning toward the 6000. Any input would be great.

The Cab option is HUGE. And expensive. Winter cold with a heater, summer heat with air conditioning, flying bug issues.
No cab. You are in the elements.
If you don't care about comfort or bugs. Save your money and get an open station.
If money is a non-issue. Or the weather and bugs bother you. A cab is the way to go.

A cab on the mx6000 is in the budget but out of the budget on 6060. Is going with the smaller tractor to get the cab worth it?
In my opinion, YES.
Comfort vs money.
As for myself, the cab option helps me do work when I otherwise wouldn't do it in a cab-less tractor.

I have an MX6000 and M6060, both with cabs. I would hate to have to make your decision since the M6060 is so much more tractor, but I simply couldn't do without the cab. The M6060 cab runs cooler than the MX for various reasons, but if I were faced with the same choice I'd go with the MX6000 and cab over the M6060 open station.
Hot, cold, dust, bugs, mowing, spraying, rain, smoke .... all so much easier to deal with when you have a cab.

I know the cabs are very nice (speaking as an open station MX6000 owner). But capability is primary when buying a tractor. If the lift capacity and weight of the MX suits your needs, then by all means buy the MX cab tractor. But if the greater capability of the M is necessary for your uses, I think that answers your question.
Depends on your climate. In my climate, it's never that hot nor cold. We don't have a lot of bugs. Open station is fine. If it's raining I don't do tractor work (I mostly mow anyway, and I don't mow in the wet).
If you live in a place that gets very hot or very cold or both, or I guess very humid, or you have to do tractor work in the rain because that's when the work needs doing, or you're snow blowing, then you need a cab. Especially if the MX has all the capability you need and the M is only a want. If none of those things are true, and you have work that an MX can't do that an M can, then you need an M.

I'm in the pro-cab group. Thankfully when I was looking to buy, my wife is way smarter than me and insisted that i got a cab. I have bad sinuses and didn't think about how much all brush cutting and such would affect my sinuses, but she did. Then you add the benefit of climate control on top of that. I'm in the office 50 hours a week, so not adjusted to the outdoor temps. The cab lets me go out and get work done and enjoy it at the same time.
For me, the money for the cab is a must. Yet my best friend who works outside everyday and has for the last 40+ years, never thought about the cab option and wouldn't spend a dime towards one over the years. Although, he has recently admitted, now that he is getting into his mid-60s, the cab option is starting to look a little more appealing to him.

My main use for the tractor will be bush hogging? How does the 6000 compare to the 6060? I’d like to have an 8’ cutter and one day maybe a bat wing.

I personally think that the M6060 is a way better value than the MX6000 even at around $10k more, but if an MX will get the job done, and it's the only way to get a cab I'd go that route.
Almost everyone that opposes a cabbed tractor has never actually owned and used one. I kept telling myself for six years that I didn't need a cab, but I would never only have an open station tractor. I would add one in addition to what I currently have, but even that's very unlikely.

I run a 7ft rotary cutter (RCR1884) and a 5ft flail (Del Morino Centurion Super) behind the MX6000 without any trouble at all. I have a 12ft folding cutter (RC3712) but have only pulled it behind the M6060 which is a match made in heaven.
An M6060 will do just about everything better than an MX, but that's not to say that an MX won't do most things well enough.

They use the same engine but are otherwise much different. Basically, depends upon whether you want the convenience of a HST or the efficiency of a gear type transmission.
Cab/no cab depends upon multiple factors. I've bought/used/sold many tractors but have bought only a single new tractor (special, once in lifetime deal) with cab, and it was quickly sold due to incompatibility with need to drive around and beneath trees.
I'm not fond of mounted cutters beyond 6' for various reasons but either tractor should handle a 7' mounted cutter (especially unfond of) or 8' twin spindle mounted cutter (less unfond of) in many conditions. Nothing larger than a 12' (10' preferred) BW in anything but light conditions. The BW, properly set-up (most are not), will cut much better than either of the other options.

My main question is how many hours a year are you going to put on the tractor? If you are going to be doing hundreds of hours of bush hogging. I would go with the M6060 and save up and get a cab on it. I do hundreds of hours a year bat wing mowing but I use a cabbed tractor. Wouldn't think of setting outside on a hundred degree day mowing. I run a MX6000 open station. Most of my hours with that tractor is spot spraying were a cab just won't work. I have done some bush hogging with it and a seven foot mower. Weight wise that seven foot mower which is a heavy duty model is a load for the three point. I wouldn't want a eight foot. I wouldn't want to run a bat wing on a MX6000. I think even a smaller bat wing would be a load on it. I really like my MX6000 for what I use it for but I find the three point set up a little light for my likings. I have plenty of big tractors in the shed so I don't have to over load the MX.

I'm in the same boat. The MX is great at certain tasks such as snow removal, running the flail, moving things around with pallet forks, and even pulling a large disc harrow, but I use the M6060 for the more challenging jobs.
