Just bought a new MX6000 open station and I’ve decided that I want to replace the standard seat with an air ride seat. I have scoured the internet and learned that there is a seat through Kubota whole goods L2023 (vinyl) or L2026 in cloth and it seems you need MX6027 wiring harness adapter. The instructions for installing show it is for a Grand L series. Will this seat fit my tractor and has anyone successfully replaced theirs?? While I’m asking what is Kubota Whole Goods? Any help is appreciated.

I have the cloth Grammer air ride seat (L6026) in my MX6000HSTC. The seat is the same for the L6060 and MX6000 but the L6060 already has the wiring harness installed. As you pointed out, you need the wiring harness (MX6027) to add the air ride seat. There is no air ride seat option for the open station MX tractors if you use the "build my Kubota" tool on Kubota's website and I'm not sure why that is. Perhaps it doesn't sell well enough to include it on a build.

Ask your Kubota salesman for a price on L6023 (vinyl air ride seat) and MX6027 (wiring harness). It'll be a lot cheaper ordering through sales rather than parts. The price should be $1,103 for the seat, $59 for the wiring harness and shipping.

I have the air ride pedestal for the seat in the M6060 and plan on installing it when I replace the rear glass with the defrost glass.

Is your MX6000 open station? Did you have any issues replacing the seat?
Thanks so much for your help!

My first MX6000 was the MX6000HST model (open station) but after a year I sold it and bought a cab model MX6000HSTC. The C stands for cab.

I never had an air ride seat in the MX6000HST but added it to the build sheet when I ordered the cab model so didn't install it myself. Installing the air ride pedestal in the M6060 doesn't look to be that challenging. I have to pull the seat out through the rear window of the cab, remove the standard pedestal and install the air ride pedestal.
