Please help if you can....
Have been having issues with ignition switch... ordered an aftermarket one off Amazon for 1/3 the price.
Installed new switch...engine started and ran fine, but three codes were displayed....e93, e94, and E95. Owners manual states those are engine starter relay, engine shut off relay and pto solenoid are in trouble.. in that order. Noticed PTO wouldn’t turn, even with switch rotated into pto run position, and also engine kill switch under seat didn’t activate when I left seat with PTO switch in on position and tractor running.
I reinstalled the old switch, but had the same codes and problems. Anyone have any ideas?

Call your dealer. Sometimes 'cheap replacements don't pan out' and I bet even putting the old one back in, with the codes in the ECM they will stay until cleared by the dealer.

were the codes present before changing to the cheap switch or did they pop up AFTER?

yes you have to really be careful with aftermarket stuff, particularly on Kubota since Kubota does not give out specifications like the automotive guys do, those specs are used to "copy" their parts, creating a huge aftermarket for auto parts (Cardone, Borg-Warner, etc)

On all of the newer tractors, people want to save money and I understand & respect that, but it's also been my experience that the new stuff doesn't like to have anything but OEM parts, for reasons mentioned above (no specs to 'copy' their parts)-thus, you can sometimes get a cheap inexpensive and inferior part that might or might NOT actually work on your tractor. With the new stuff (which uses canbus), it becomes even more critical.

Now you have a communication error in the system. Could the chinese keyswitch be at fault? We shall find out once the dealer gets it. Yes dealer is the only one who has the software and hardware to properly diagnose these things now. You and I can't, well I used to (don't do dealer work anymore). I agree it is ridiculous but for the time being you are married to the dealer for this reason. They use a system called diagmaster to diagnose kubota stuff, it is proprietary to dealers only (not available for customer purchase).
