Finally got to use the land pride mulching blade set (they look like Oregon gator blades) on the rear finish mower (FDR1660).
Worked about as expected…a couple passes over leaves and small branches and they are gone…mostly.
They leaves weren’t 3 ft thick, but there was enough of them after a week of falling they needed to go.
Overall did a nice job. Will keep these blades on thru the spring cleanup. Then switch back to the medium lift blades until next fall.
Leaves were dry on a freak 75° fall day in MI.
