Hello - new to the forum. I know others have posted problems w lowering their mower deck. In researching this problem so far I’ve seen only responses discussing the hydraulic lock (right of the seat) and speed control for the lift arms (under the seat). In my case, the 3-pt hitch goes up and down just fine. The mower deck is stuck in the full up position and does not budge when I try to raise or lower the attachment. Local dealership is closed for the weekend and I have a lot of cutting to do. This is my first time trying to used the mower since the machine came back from the dealer for a different service. I think, though, that when I started it today, the mower was sunk to the ground and I pulled it up to drive to where I was going to cut. Cannot swear to that though. In any case it sure is in the up position now! I’d be grateful for any leads!

What position is the mower height knob in? If the dealer moved it to 'TOP' that could be your problem.
Oh! Wow! Thank you! Yes, I keep my deck at 4” so I didn’t notice that it was one notch over at top. EEAnd I did not know the function of the “Top” setting. What is that primarily for? Locking the deck up for transport? Thank you so much. You gave me an instant win in joining the forum.

'TOP' locks the deck up. It's also useful if you remove the deck and have a BXpanded under-armor plate installed to protect the hydro fan and the fuel filter and lift pump.

Yeah. Forgot to mention that, since OP's emphasis was on the mower deck.
If you plan on removing the deck for winter duties, get the bxpander plate to protect the bottom, as mentioned above. Just slips on, raise it up, then lock it in place. Worth every penny.
