My local Kubota dealership just quoted me something like $650 + tax for a new radiator for my 1992 B6200 4WD tractor. I'll get mine rebuilt next winter. Nonetheless, these prices for new parts got me looking elsewhere for better deals. Can any of you recommend alternatives for tractor parts in Canada, preferably eastern Canada? I'll pay shipping anywhere in Canada if the gross cost for parts + shipping is less than what my local Kubota dealer wants.

Maybe it's Kubota corp that sets the prices for these parts and I can expect pretty much the same prices across Canada? Any comment on this? Thanks. Peter

Probably the price youd end up paying all across the board. Weather its from the deal or a local radiator shop, the price of copper is expensive these days.

Harley parts are resonable compared to the metric bikes. Theres plenty of aftermarket competition for the HD bus.

I have had good luck finding parts on eBay if you want to check there. Otherwise your radiator has to be pretty bad if a radiator repair shop can't fix it. I have not repaired my B7200 radiator yet but I can see where it has been repaired in the past.

And yes I also own a Harley and yes both companies know how to mark up parts.

I wonder how close Harley orange is to Kubota orange?

I don't know, I had my B7100 radiator repaired by a local repair shop, they cleaned it all out perfectly and then repaired 2 minor leaks. (it just needed a good inside cleaning) and they charged me $25.00, then I got a used one on ebay for $30.00 from Joesoutdoor power and brought it to the shop, it had 2 leaks on top, he cleaned it all out and fixed the leaks ......$25.00. It is Bowdon tire and radiator shop, Bowdon Ga. You could probably ship it there and back for less then new one.

Just my past experience (this was 2 years ago)
