So I messed up my trans a while back and finally got to taking it apart, hoping it was somehting not too bad. Well, not the case. Just got started and found a number of gears messed up. Bearing in pieces. The bearing coming apart messed the the seat in the case etc.
So I started looking around for another bx2200 at a decent price. Found one with no loader (had read pto and 3 pt) listed for a decent price. Plan to swap parts around and make 1 good tractor with a lot of left over spare parts.
If this one doesnt work out I am not seeing much else as far as BX2200 go. Are there any other models that share the rear end/transmission with the BX2200 that I could look for?
I looked in to ordering new gears etc, but they add up and a number of them were showing backorder etc.
