I bet deaths from all causes are up in this group, like the airline pilots. It's sad.
I do not have any specific new data, but I suspect that airline pilot premature deaths are not significantly different from the general (male) death rates.
I am an 82 year old retired airline pilot (former USN) with over 30,000 hours of flying.
I did go through very early prostate cancer treatment (age 55), but my dad died of prostate cancer, so I had a family history.
I do have a heart issue, .......but many 82 year old males have heart issues also.
I do have a kidney issue, and the VA believes that, and prostate cancer, are attributable to Agent Orange exposure.
Both my mother and dad did not make it as long as I have.
I shall continue to be one very happy camper,..... for every minute of every day that remains.
BTW: INMHO the VA (here in FL) does provide very good medical care.
