Manual Problems

I am having all kinds of problems getting the right manuals for my 2017 MX5200 Hst tractor.
First WSM I ordered was printed in 2014. Called back and asked and they had a 2016/2017 in stock.
They gladly swapped out.

Ordered Parts manual and got one that was- not -for HST models. They glady swaped it out.

Got HST MX 4800H, MX5200H, MX5800H parts manual in mail yesterday and just like the 1st WSM manual i had to send back, this parts manual was printed in 2014 and i have a 2017 tractor.

I am a little embarrased to call back. But i am sure Kubota has a newer parts manual.

Do any of you know if there is a newer version of MX series HST parts manual after 2014.

These people have been very understanding and apologize for the problems but they say they are at the mercy of Kubota giving them the right part number for the manuals. They claim Kubota prints them out when ordered.

Does anyone know if a newer parts manual available for my 2017 tractor?

There are no major differences between MX5200's that were built in 2014 and 2017. Kubota's don't have year models.

Hey Apcokubota. Under "Equipment" in your profile, you should list your tractor, MX5200H, first before the other equipment.

That will keep people from having to ask "what tractor do you have" later on.

All those 2014 MX5200H parts manuals you send back, actually fit you specific 2017 tractor. Some tractor models can have a manufactors assembly line run of 5 or 6 years, and the parts manuals issued for the first model year apply to all subsequent model years.

An advantage with some early-in-the-model run parts or service manuals is that the images can be clearer. I think it's because the reprinting process, and I'm talking official factory published version, not PDF knock-offs. This can be important for detailed images like wiring diagrams. Anyone have similar experience?

A few part numbers will change during the model run, and can usually easily be picked up by googling the net.

Like the other guys said, you probably sent back good manuals.

Tractors aren’t like cars; model # is important, year is not.

There has only ever been one set of manuals for that model.

Parts P/N 97898-26220

But why bother, the parts manual on Kubota.com is a heck of a lot more detailed and up to date accurate.

WSM P/N 9Y111-09741

And like all have said, it doesn't matter what the date on it is, they are all the same. ;)
