I bought a new combination box for a t1600h installed it and still have no power at the st wire that makes the starter work. I have power at the starter on wire from battery only. It will start with screwdriver across battery and small connection every thing else nothing.

Sounds like a typical safety switch problem; seat safety switch? neutral safety switch? blade engagement safety switch? one is saying "don't start" "we have a hazard condition."
How do you wire around the seat safety switch. I installed a new pto switch and the brake switch checks out ok. the seat switch shows bad. When I got this lawn tractor it would start with the three dash lights but they stopped working one by one.
