New member here. The A/C clutch is slipping badly and prior to this the A/C was marginal at best even with window tinting. I an considering changing the compressor with another Denso and the expansion valve. Tractor has 1500 hours and the sightglass on the drier has no flashing. Any advice on this situation? Kubota wants 1k just for the clutch.

pull the seat and seat base access panel. Remove the top of the hvac box. Clean the evaporator and heater core. Those are often neglected and with 1500 hours, probably pretty dirty. That will help the system work more efficiently.

if the clutch is bad, it's bad. I don't know of any aftermarket stuff that fits these, and if you could find something, it's critical that it be the correct size (displacement) to match the rest of the system.

Install a manual heater hose control valve & be sure it's closed. Make sure exterior of radiator, condenser & evaporator are very clean so air can flow through exterior of each of each component. Have you checked with AP air for a compressor?

You have to contact them for pricing, but AP Air has all the parts you need to fix your air conditioning system.
